Lisa Gal (b. 1997, Seoul) is an artist based in Toronto, completing her BFA in Drawing and Painting at OCAD University (2026). Her multidisciplinary practice spans painting, drawing, sculpture, writing, and curatorial work, where she explores themes of play, domesticity, interiority, and authority. Gal has contributed paintings to Volvox Magazine, curated group exhibitions at artist-run DIY spaces, and performed in feature-length films. In 2026, she is working towards her thesis exhibition at OCAD U, contributing drawings to the Berlin-based magazine Common Pink, curating a group exhibition at Gagné Contemporary Projects, appearing in Colourless Cola (dir. Isiah Medina), as well as Sirius (dir. Kelley Dong).
