Kaia Fortis Scott is a filmmaker, animator and multimedia artist from West End Toronto. Through her practice she experiments with themes of connectivity, family, and is particularly fascinated by stories that juxtapose dark and light themes; humour and tragedy, joy and trauma. She has studied at OCAD University and the Film and Television School of the Performing Arts in Czech Republic. With experience on set in many roles as well as pre and post production, Kaia has most recently been working at a kids music and animation studio as a production manager.
