“My works primarily explore the psychological and emotional aspects of human experience. They focus on the paths people take in life, the pain they carry, and the frustrations they often try to hide. These emotions frequently reveal themselves through facial expressions and behaviours, even when people attempt to conceal them. My works are a tribute to these struggles, acknowledging that we must accept them and continue moving forward. While some individuals are more resilient and less affected by pain, for others, even small challenges can evolve into profound traumas. The struggles I explore are not merely personal; they are universal and reflect the shared experience of human vulnerability.”

Sara was born in Iran. After graduating from medical school in 2018, she moved to Barrie, Canada, where she began pursuing her lifelong passion for sculpture. To build a strong artistic foundation, she earned a diploma in Art and Design Fundamentals from Centennial College. In 2021, she relocated to Toronto to study Sculpture and Installation at OCAD University. In addition to her work in sculpture and installation, she has recently expanded her practice to include performance art and printmaking.
