
Alexandrea Doracin is a contemporary cartoonist working with digital illustration in Aurora, Canada. She operates within a home studio, producing animated shorts and large-scale character illustrations. She is committed to bringing imagination to life through animated cartoons and lively illustrations. Alexandrea is on track to graduate from her studies in experimental animation at OCAD University. She has taken on a variety of experimental art mediums such as 2D animation, 3D modelling, woodwork, stop motion animation, videography, and sound design. Aspiring to work in a studio post-graduation, she has worked on multiple collaborative projects, a recent and most prominent one being “The Nine Lives of a Cat”, an anijam project worked on with eight other individuals. Alexandrea's most recent thesis film, "Synapse Retrogenesis", is her biggest solo piece to date, finished in April of 2025.She continues to broaden her skills through experimental practices and educative classes while staying on track to graduate in 2025.
