Yoonha Lee Jang (they/them) is a Korean-Canadian mixed media artist with a keen interest in non-traditional storytelling and visual abstraction. Their work is informed by existence in different spatial contexts, such as in nature or on virtual/online platforms, as well as drawing from their lived experience as a queer Asian person living in North America. Jang completed a BFA in experimental animation at OCAD University in Toronto in 2026, where they produced work investigating personal identity and transpersonal experiences through traditional and digital painting, drawing, collage, and hand-drawn animation.
