Sophie Min is a cross-disciplinary artist currently completing her BFA degree in the Integrated Media program at OCAD University. Her practice primarily explores the subjectivity of space through examining different categories of spaces and the way we interact with, inhabit and/or relate to them as human beings. The exploration is being pursued in both conceptual and contextualized approaches mostly through the form of installation, where she creates multi-channel or site-specific works that interact with their physical surrounding to initiate a shared experience amongst her audience. Her interest in space is also reflected in her experimental short film and photography practice, with focuses on camerawork and production design.
