Lola utilizes unnerving atmospheres and liminal spaces as common visual themes and narrative settings throughout her projects as a way of representing her own mindscape.She has won several art awards from previously attended schools, as well as the Best Mixed Media/Hybrid/Expanded Project from OCADU, and she ranked 7th place overall for a 30 second short film made by her and her groupmates in the international 24 Hours Animation contest based out of California.Lola seeks to share her stories and characters with others as a form of connection, and to create a space that feels accepting for anyone who struggles with identity or mental health.
