Mahi Kakkar is a 2d & 3d animator, and a filmmaker whose work revolves around creative storytelling. Drawing from personal experiences related to identity, culture, and vulnerability, Mahi explores the beauty and complexity of the human experiences. His artistic approach blends elements of reality with fiction, creating a unique and expressive narrative voice. Some of his previous works have dealt with issues like OCD, psychological obsession.Graduating with a BFA in Experimental Animation, and a minor in Integrated Media; he has gained knowledge and skill in 2d and 3d digital animation, cinematography, visual effects and editing- exploring various softwares from Toon Boom Harmony, Blender, Photoshop, DragonFrame to After Effects, Davinci Resolve, Nuke. He enjoys using his skills to communicate ideas in innovative ways, often incorporating a variety of media into his projects. With a background in both animation and filmmaking, Mahi is passionate about experimenting with the intersection of these two art forms, constantly seeking new ways to push creative boundaries.
