Emily Hwang is a Taiwanese Artist based in Toronto, Canada who is currently majoring in drawing & painting at OCAD U (Ontario College of Art and Design University). Before moving to Toronto, she lived in two other countries, Burkina Faso and Canada, spending an equal amount of time in both. In her art practice she often uses acrylic and oil paintings. Some of her exhibitions in Ontario were the 10th Annual Experiencing Perspectives, Canada 150 Art & Heritage, Young at Art. Emily also has experience in teaching art through her internship at the AGO (Art Gallery of Ontario) Weston Learning Centre, instructing at Best Creation Fine Art Studio. In addition, she was a volunteer and part-time instructor at a private studio called LoveFunArt for 6 months.
