Gillian Wynn-Lawson is an experimental, photo based artist creating in Toronto, Ontario. At the core of her creative practice is a yearning for self exploration and understanding. She explores topics related to her experience of grief and loss, familial and romantic relationships, as well as growth and identity. Her methods include a mixture of digital analog or camera-less photography rooted in self portraiture, performance, installation, or alternative photographic techniques.Having spent 5 years studying at OCAD University, Gillian has broadened her definitions of photography and bridged her performative background with her passion for image making.
