Frank Obano is a Toronto-based industrial designer and founder of seebeyondreality studios—an exploratory practice focused on everyday objects, human behavior, and experience design.As a child, Frank was exposed to a wide variety of cartoons well into his late teens, which helped shape his vivid imagination. This influence is why his work doesn’t mimic what one would typically see in the real world. His designs often features and wavy lines or movement, drawing heavily from the playful aesthetics of cartoons. Through his work, he aims to create products that reveal the layers of everyday life, how they make us feel, and the lasting impact they have on how we live.
