Francesca Bandayrel is a Mississauga-based 2D animator & “tradigital” artist who creates fantasy, science fiction, and historical characters and worlds to explore themes and stories of personal identity and relationships. Francesca has spent secondary school bettering her draftsmanship, exhibiting at the Living Arts Centre in Mississauga, and attending art events and clubs. Post-secondary, she exhibited her work in Wavelength 2020 & the Great Hall Exhibition, learned industry skills, and networked at two Animation T.O. events. Francesca was taught by animation industry professionals on numerous projects, and was the co-president of GAMA; the Gaming, Anime and Manga Association at OCADU. Francesca will graduate with a BFA in Integrated Media: Digital Painting and Expanded Animation, and has worked professionally at Yowza! Animation Studios as an ink and painter. Francesca plans on continuing working in the 2D animation industry, while working on personal projects.
