“"The Preserved" is a series of editorial illustrations that imagines emotions pervaded objects toimply human desire on preserving intangible feelings in tangible things.”
Nicole is a Hong Kong-Canadian designer based in Toronto. She made her way from Hong Kong to Canada to pursue a professional education as an Illustrator at OCAD University, and graduated in 2020.Her work is mostly whimsical, ambiguous, joyful and playful. Her drawings show how she tells stories in her particular way, and they are hugely influenced by her cultural background.She strives to explore ways to incorporate her illustrations into daily life and everyday objects.If she is not working, you can find her capturing dreams in her bedroom while listening to lo-fi music.
