“IT is a narrative 2D, monochromatic animation about anxiety caused by everyday activities. The main theme of my animation that I am exploring is anxiety, particularly how that may make one feel throughout the day. To portray the feeling of anxiety, I created a shadow-like character that is essentially a personification of anxiety. This character creates an unsettling and nerve-wracking atmosphere for the protagonist of my project. The title of the animation is It, which is also the name of the shadow figure. The shadow figure is called “It” as it is not quite human. It occasionally manifests itself in different forms, making this figure an unknown specimen. The plot focuses on a woman who struggles with her daily life as she is being followed by a mysterious figure, It. This figure causes the woman to feel a mix of many negative emotions as she describes her journey with “It”. ”
