aka. Detrinity, Illustration

“"Harbingers" is a series of illustrations that personify humanity's enduring afflictions as deities. This project is inspired by mythos, Christianity, and illuminated manuscripts, centering around a contemporary pantheon that explores the intersection of historical and present-day issues through deifying real-word figures. Since the days of old, people across the globe have attributed human characteristics to disasters; creating stories of gods, demons, and myths to explain their suffering. This project aims to demonstrate how humanity’s problems are cyclical, yet evolve with the times.”
