“Design is not a layer added onto life - it is the structure life unfolds within. My work moves beyond troubleshooting symptoms of exclusion to reverse-engineer the systems that produce them. Through architecture, I explore how spatial and structural design can restore alignment, identity, and access. Grounded in interdisciplinary research, my practice draws from emotional insight, philosophical inquiry, and systems thinking to create environments that support cognitive, social, and cultural complexity.”

Anisha is an Environmental Design (Honours) graduate from OCAD University whose work bridges architecture, philosophy, and systemic reform. Her thesis project, Align, proposes a new typology for social integration - designed to support disabled youth through accessible, emotionally responsive, and spatially intelligent environments. She approaches design not as a surface solution, but as a structural lens to understand how systems shape identity, belonging, and autonomy. Rooted in interdisciplinary research - spanning cognitive theory, emotional intelligence, structural logic, and philosophical inquiry - Anisha’s work challenges inherited constructs and reimagines space as a site for care, coherence, and transformation.
