“I am in love with a world that feels still and full, when energy seems to hum quietly at the edges of our awareness. These are the moments that linger, soft and blurred, in the spaces between. In these quiet observations, I see not only my own body, but every fibre of my being. “Everything That Touched You” explores the relationship between memory, interconnectedness, and karmic residue in a world is not separate from the self, but intertwined with every being, every moment. Working from personal photographs, these images of space and embodiment become vessels for the self. These images are not merely seen but lived. Each painting holds a felt moment—an instance where light, touch, body, and space converge. Rooted in relational embodiment, they trace the places where my body meets the world, where each mark becomes a memory, and painting becomes an archive of presence.I invite you to look beyond the surface, to feel these moments in your skin, and to recognize that you, too, have been here before, existing in this same light.”

Tia Babbar (b. 2003) is a fine artist living and working in Toronto. Her work explores collective memory and karmic residue, drawn from the understanding that the world is not separate from the self, but intertwined with every being, every moment. Light in her work, whether in its soft glow or its bright illumination, carries this connection. It moves through rooms, over faces, between bodies, and across time.
