“General Revelation is the Christian belief that God reveals Himself through the created world we see around us. My work aims to explore my personal experience within this theology, capturing a narrative picture of divine relationship. Gratitude and mindfulness in nature has revealed to me a feeling of faith, not just a knowledge of it that can be taught. Alongside physical research in the way of consistent hiking, my work is informed by theological study, historical landscape painting, sublime philosophy and personal testimonies. All of the surfaces I paint on are wood that otherwise would have been discarded- full of lovingly designed intricacies and overlooked charm. My collection of paintings consider both my personal experience in space and my joys and conflicts in faith. ”
