Alexandra (Alex) Sevazlian is a Toronto-based illustrator and fine artist. She creates in both digital and traditional mediums, most partial to oil paint, ink, watercolour and risograph prints. Her artistic focus lies in capturing the beauty and complexity of the human form, interaction between figures, femininity and queerness. She is often inspired by candid film and digital photography, the mundane, vintage fashion and design, and expressions of gender. Her illustration thesis project focuses on queer and gender non-conforming musicians, primarily from the 1970 and 1980s. She will be displaying her work at Gradex 111 and graduating from OCAD University in spring 2026 with a Bachelor of Design in Illustration.
