The gentrification of Scarborough threatens the rich cultural history and community that bonds people to the region. Displacement of people, rising rent, and the influx of luxury developments replacing markers of the community threaten the authenticity, uniqueness and diversity that define Scarborough. This project highlights the importance of preserving these stories, communities, cultures, and people.
