Book Serie's Cover Redesign

A three part series of book jackets that were inspired by the stories from "The Dark Tower" series written by Stephen King. The final production yielded three 18" x 24" prints that were trimmed to fit the exterior of the front, back and spine of the books.

“The intention of these works was to express through typographic form, the concepts and themes that are found within the stories. In order to do this a more graphic treatment of the typography was utilized which lead to interesting outcomes regarding the boarders between type and illustration. Unity is maintained between the covers through the very flat treatment of space and limited colour palette which alters slightly between the series. This was also due to the systematic composition that was maintained throughout. ”
