If You Could Just
Painting

If you could just pause for a moment, to feel the brush of fabric against your skin and the air whispering along the surface of your body, you might begin to sense it. The space where cloth gives way to flesh acts as an invitation, not simply to look at the body, but to look into it. It mirrors the practice of inseeing: a turning inward rather than outward, to feel the skin not as a barrier, but as a threshold. The unbuttoned space suggests exactly this—to feel my skin is to feel the boundary dissolve, to sense that what is within me also exists beyond me.
