Pepper Flower

“May it last for thousand of years, praising the fragrance of pepper flower(千年万岁，椒花颂声)” which is the meaning of “I hope that in a thousand and ten thousand years, there will still be people like me who will remember you”, pepper flower is profound blessing, wishing longevity and happiness, while using as a symbol to express admiration and longing for virtues and a beautiful life. Yet, the sentence not only etols Nüshu but also pays homage and commemoration to women like Lady Shangguan Wan’er and Princess Taiping.
