“The research that occupies this work is rooted within the limitations of creating self portraits, through long exposures. These photographs to utilize motion blur & after images inspired by cinematic storytelling, while the compositions that focus on abstraction and colour are works of expression, within the context of the narrative. The connection between self reflection and confusion is thematically depicted in these images. The sequence can either be viewed in parts or as a whole; what this display of expression may mean to a particular person is entirely interpretive. ”
