A close-up observational painting exploring the intimate details of four mouldy fruits. This close examination puts the fruits on a different scale to further represent the textures of them.

“This painting is a reflection of time and ageing and what it means to expire or be past your prime. The closeness of the fruit confronts the viewer and forces them to take in all the detail of the mould that is growing.”
