Sculptural work created from foraged tree roots on the beach during the OCADU art trip to Awenda Provincial Park, dried tree roots, jute twine, 34" x 22" x 7"

“My art explores themes of relationship, compassion and connection; between one another and with our natural environment This is a sculptural work I made from dried tree roots found laying between the rocks on the beach. They represent connection with Awenda as land and place, the passage of time and taking from the past to create new possibilities. ”
