The Color of storm
Installation
The muslin fabric was coated with colored wax to represent the water resources in various locations in Iran. The see-through fabric was covered with clay to symbolize the recent sand storm. The zigzag lines symbolize rain, driven from the pattern on a beaker in ancient Iran..
“This work is an elegy for Iran's open water resources, which brought fertility and abundance to this warm and dry land for thousands of years and are known as the places that the first civilizations shaped”
