Time Will Pass You by

Depiction of my time displacement feeling.

“This work showcases my eagerness to visit my family and partner in Brazil. To achieve this I added several layers of numbers in several depictions in a frantic manner, several mixed colours in watercolour as to reinforce the manic feeling of how I felt my days pass by. There's photocopies of the "A Volta ao Mundo em 80 Dias" (Around the World in 80 Days) book cover glued to the page as to add a 3D layer to the piece, which is a book my grandma gave me on my previous visit to Brazil.”
