Move me like the Waves

The work I have created for this series focuses on the element of water and the emotions it can evoke in an individual. Throughout time humans have always had a natural connection to water and psychologically project certain feelings onto it depending on its current state. As colour does make an impact on emotion, my series was mainly focused on portraying the movements of the water in a progression of small, medium, and large waves. My intention for this series is to produce a body of work that allows the audience to feel any type of emotion with the water I depicted. Whether they agreed with the emotion I intended to portray or a completely separate feeling. This project was made to immerse the audience in an environment of being moved like the waves.
