Plants Have Ears

Plants are more complex than given credit for. This image was inspired by the old adage that your plants like it when you speak to them. The ability for some plants to hear has actually been shown, such as the mustard plant. The mustard plant has the ability to hear when it is being munched on by caterpillars, and releases a bitter chemical to prevent this.
