“"Naturally" is a series that explores the side of science that the western world typically discredits or cast aside. Such as various cultures traditional knowledge and different ways of knowing and interacting with our environment, that often is at odds with modern science and ecological practices.”
Avery Bursey is a freelance illustrator based in Toronto. Her work is heavily inspired by the natural world around us and our relationship with it. As well as drawing inspiration from folklore, dreams and the subconscious. The majority of her works are created using traditional media.
