The inspiration for this painting was Algonquin Provincial Park. The colours that I included were colours that I saw when spending time in the park over the summer months. I remember the park as very lush and overgrown. The water was green and opaque. In my minds eye everything seemed muddy, melded together, and beautiful in its own natural way.
