Abstract Artist
“It begins with the inspiration I find in a word or phrase. I use my handwriting and the edge of the line as the foundation for each painting. From there I add colours and pattern that I or you, might associate with the chosen word or phrase.”

I’m a Canadian born visual artist. At twenty six years old I have been practicing art my whole life. I split my time between Toronto and “northern” Ontario. When up north I like to paint landscapes, with a particular affinity for water. When I’m in the city its all about extreme abstraction, my influences often revolve around politics and the future. My original passion was for sculpture, predominantly clay and ceramics. Working with my hands felt satisfying and gave me a sense of completion. At a time in our shared history, where so much of what we do is intangible, producing physical artworks gives me purpose. The concept behind my work is what’s most important. It’s how I identify the good work from the bad.
