Remember Me consists of two site-specific inspired textile design pieces for interiors that have been constructed through weaving, felting, and rug making techniques, that represent the bond we create as humans with our homes through personal objects.
“Remember Me is a handmade textile collection that merges traditional crafting methods with sophisticated linear compositions in order to create abstract interpretations of the industrial world. The project focuses on the relationship between human crafted textile pieces and the built environment, while exploring how the objects within them affect human behaviour and endure through memories. This project emphasizes the way an atmosphere can be created through the exploration of materiality and surface design, offering a subconscious tactile experience through visual interpretation.”
