The project seeks to recondition the pre dreaming environment and state of dreaming mind in the development of metaverses by using statistical neuron brain activity evidence collected from day time and emerging technology to extract thoughts, anxiety, motivations and translate these contents as abstract forms whereby users can customize their immersive pre-dream environment.
“What is the definition of dream? This envisions a translation of dream structure that we vision and walk through. It lies in-between the virtual and physical. It embodies different states of consciousness. Intensity of brain activity during sleep becomes the measuring meter for the dynamicity of dream environment which guide user based on their preceding waking conscioussness thus they can process daily issues and help them sleep and dream better. The project begins by analyzing users’ behavior in daytime and reinterprets abstract geometry with unique colours and sound denoted. The user enters in a lucid state and by the end of the journey one falls asleep. This thesis also flip the expectations of both digitality and materiality. It begins in computational space by rethinking how a design typically would come about and in specific terms how we understand “materials” in digital.Virtual Reality technology made possible to immerse and experience worlds and environments perviously unthought of. Speculating on this premise, I envision that technology can serve to create a novel form of space and therefore architecture, where users can participate with their own bodily presence in an environment that augments aspects of both the real and virtual. Ultimately what will future bedroom be?”
