The Tumen River, also Known as the Dumanganga in Korean, marks the boundary between China and North Korea. Its original name in the Machu language, "Tumen Sekiyen," combines "Tumen" meaning "myriad" and "Sekiyen" signifying "river source," denoting it as the origin of countless waters. Locals deeply revere this ancient river, particularly worshiping the spirits of water.

“As a wanderer, I find myself back in this second home once more, where locals sometimes see me as "the child from the North".Children at play speak in whispers of a tongue unknown, while elders recount tales of who have flown, My relocated parents shares tories untold. In this unfamiliar realm, where time's hues unfold, I wander, seeking truths, in a journey yet untold.”
