How Are Ideas Created?

For this project, I wanted to explore the subconscious mind and how the brain works through ascientific perspective. I chose to present this information through a website as a way to easily deliver the different categories of research to the viewer. With such a detailed subject, and so much information available, I wanted to condense and simplify this information and sort it into manageable categories.I was inspired by the electric lights of a city at night representing the electrical signals in the brain, and also the feel of the city at night with its narrow alleyways and hidden spots reminded me of the pathways of connections as we think. The city atmosphere is like the feeling of the multitude of thoughts occurring in the mind. I wanted my website to capture this feeling and be more atmospheric than a usual website. The homepage acts as the main hub from where you can explore this “mind city” from.
