STORK Fertility Program

This is a speculative design project.This program is designed to address the yearly decline in the birth rate based on the use of technology to encourage child-rearing while protecting the rights of women.The Stork Fertility Program is a for-profit organization founded in 2100 by medical doctoral students and professors from several universities in Ontario, Canada, in partnership with the Ontario government. Also, unlike regular surrogacy programs, robotic surrogacy protects the rights of women. The program aims to use robotic surrogacy to address the declining birth rate in Ontario every year. We have several different robotic surrogacy programs to help you achieve your fertility dreams.Our surrogate robots are genderless. After a successful conception, you can observe the embryo's development in real time through its transparent belly(womb). Our professional staff will come to your home once a week to record your baby's development and check the robot's condition. Until the baby is born, the surrogate also acts as an intelligent family chatbot to keep you and your family company. After the birth of your baby, you can choose our additional service and leave the robot behind. We will transform it into a family childcare robot nanny. You can also choose not to keep it and we will recycle it. It is important to note that our robots require a special "dose" of nutrients once a day and a recharge of at least one hour.
