Found Arts in Nanjing

As I started to discover more art in my hometown city. I realized that I am looking at the corners that people pass by every day, but forget about. There are buildings, histories, folklore and street renovations that people don’t realize as art. Hence, I created a tourist map of found arts in my city, Nanjing. The guide map allows visitors from all over the world and even local people to discover the interesting and minority arts that exist in the different corners of the city.The map and website content includes a collection of fourteen art spots with corresponding photography, sound records and information about each place I found. I hope this accessible and diverse format is able to present the rich history and culture of my city, and most importantly to bring the forgotten and undiscovered “art” alive to people and reconnect them with the city in a new way.
