I is a film about an old man ruminating on his life filled with hardship and failure. The film is presented through a series of vignettes from different stages of his life, each featuring a different challenge that the man had faced. The film was created using stock images, a handful of drawings, and animated entirely in PowerPoint.

“The thesis of the film entails one accepting the imperfections of their life and growing from the experiences that brought them to where they are. Each act features the man experiencing these struggles in different ways and facing an adversary at the end which personifies an aspect of those struggles. I allowed me to not only express some frustrations about life, but the challenges I have faced and to let others know that they too can overcome those obstacles. PowerPoint has been my signature medium of choice for almost 13 years as of the time of this writing, and I have spent those years perfecting my techniques and pushing the supposed presentation software beyond its intended usage, which is what I sought to do from the beginning.
