Pulling from the same home floor boards lies now a smushed cherry on the ground, surrounded by seeds lying next to it. Creating a play on the innuendo of ‘popping cherries’ and intimate partners. The small canvas forces the viewer to engage with the piece as close as possible, creating a space of intimacy and vulnerability when looking at this piece.
