There are certain books I always come back to, characters that grew up with me over the years I spent witnessing their story over and over. I thought, what do the characters do when I’m not holding their book? Do they miss me? Do they think of me? I’d like to imagine when I do come back, the little people celebrate at my arrival, and get ready to tell their story all over again.
