Working within the Dieline Design for Good prompt, the target area explored was diabetes. Through extensive research and process the brand Heathy Hive was created. Healthy Hive is a non-profit organization focused on making diabetic information more accessible to Canadians on food and beverage packaging. They have developed a user platform to aid in the education and accessibility of product information. Working with industry professionals, Healthy Hive has developed an information standards that expands product information. Using a method of standardization makes the information easily comparable between different products on the market. Finally, the brand acts as a wider organization to support companies looking to redesign, develop and tailor their products to those with diabetes. Despite the motive being the spread of information for diabetics, the information does provide a general health benefit towards all consumers.
