The shadows of doubt and anxiety were heavily present in the beginning of COVID-19. The arts seemed to be deemed non-essential but it was essential to me. If I do not create I lose who I am. I self identify as a maker, creator, researcher, and artist. I believe it's important for humans to be creative. It stimulates problem solving and reduces stress. This painting combines textures and colour to create a storm of brush strokes.
