Visual branding and web design for “doggo”, an organization that educates pet owners all the information they need when caring for a dog. The website provides details on dog care starting from feeding guides, training tips, play styles, to cost of owning a dog and caring for them after the pandemic. The main goal was to illustrate the bubbly and playful characteristic of dogs through the overall system design while providing educational knowledge to the users. Why doggo?Dogs are amongst the common domesticated animals for human companionship, and the bonds with humans generally provide mutual benefits. Due to COVID-19, social distancing measures have been reinforced worldwide, increasing the average number of hours spent at home. During this time, dog adoption from shelters increased dramatically, as abandonment of pets have also been reported amidst the pandemic. There is not enough information in one place on the internet that people have access to, which motivated me to design “doggo”, in hopes of helping new dog owners with their lack of educational knowledge on caring for a pet. Therefore, this project demonstrates an extremely informational and easily understandable website and brand that informs people on their responsibilities.
