I made this painting after not working with references for my primary artworks for GradEx. I enjoy going back to doing reference work as a wall to cool off and follow along with what I see. I enjoy working with horses that show a motion of "bow" since there is a sense of flexibility and relaxation that comes with it, but also humility.
