Micro Hair

Human hair is considered a waste material in most parts of the world. Its accumulation in waste streams causes many environmental problems that are not known or addressed. This infographic highlights various studies, systems of collection, countries researching and exporting hair as well as steps on how to recycle this micro waste.A wise professor once told me "good design is honest and shows true identity." To me this means, designing solutions for small problems thoughtfully and responsibility. I focused on an implication of minimal change that as a worldwide initiative could help the world environmentally prosper. A micro change in each persons daily lives leaves a big impact when combined as a whole. If everyone does a little bit for the environment, every day we can help slow climate change.
