Future Folded Posters

These three folded posters show Yuyi Fan’s thoughts and attempts to design for the future. They revolve around the themes of the camera (GLÆSIBIOCAM), architecture (ICIARCHIROOM) and time ICIKELETIME). She connected each theme with different keywords, such as mushroom architecture (based on the new sustainable material mycelium), human skeleton Polaroid camera (based on the future development of medical cameras), human skeleton sundial (based on the effect of UV light on the growth of human bones), and so on. She depicted these creative ideas of mine using Midjourney, a generative artificial intelligence program and service created and hosted by the independent research lab Midjourney, Inc. in San Francisco. The special cutting and folding format allows 2D posters to be rendered in 3D, increasing the interactivity of the content and the reader.Future Map (Camera, Architecture, Time)The map is an Archive of Yuyi Fan’s Midjourney artworks. She made it in the form of a map and pinned the related artwork to it. It shows her exploration of the future of design development.
