This painting is motivated by the scenery of the sea at 1 pm. I applied cracked abalone shells to represent the sunlight reflecting off the surface of the sea. Each piece has unique shapes as it was created by hammering the abalone shell. The clear line and colour of blue represent the calmness and stableness coming from the moment.
