This piece is a personal exploration of femininity and my deep connection to nature—both of which are sources of power and grounding for me. I chose to depict myself in an ethereal light, suggesting a figure that exists in a space beyond the everyday—a place of serenity, safety, and transcendence.My hair plays a central role in this work, as I’ve long associated it with my own sense of identity, beauty, and femininity. I intentionally emphasized it as the focal point, using flowing forms and vibrant greens and reds to convey movement and vitality. In contrast, I left the face less detailed to draw attention away from specific features and allow the viewer to focus on the symbolic elements of the composition.The overall atmosphere is otherworldly—a dreamlike space where the figure is free from the weight of reality, embodying peace, power, and self-possession.
